WHY DOES A/O NOT WORK?

I had a mental image for how the picture would look, but it is too complicated for me to draw right now. Maybe once I get more experience, I'll try again. :)

Maybe try finding a reference online or in a magazine :) I wouldn't be able to draw half of what I draw without them! (Are their faces or their poses giving you trouble?)
You won't be able to find as many guy with guy poses with reference stock, though. You might have to find a couple of images with poses you like and put them together to get the image you want, or change the gender of the subjects though.
(For example, I found a pose I like of a girl that's leaning or drooping like a tangled marionette, and I wanted to add a boy who's slumped on the floor next to her, his strings cut since he's a puppet too. I found a picture of a girl slumped on the floor, and then I drew both of the images next to each other, and made the slumped girl look like a guy.)
Try senshistock, on deviantArt. She has some really good pose references, but I don't know where to go for faces yet...

I'm still the odd-ball waiting for Foaly. My friend drew a really cool one of Foaly, Caballine, and Holly. It was quite impressive.

I'm sort of stumped on it. I have everything drawn except the facial features and the background. :( I'll see if I can get my brain to think of someway to draw his face. It'll be difficult with school, music, and college classes though.

*Three years after the fact*

Ah, I love these!! (Especially the Maximum Ride-A/H one, that came out so well. References make things /so/ much easier, but so often it's hard to find ones that fit what you have in your mind...) Oh, and I second the request for an A/O piece. <3 (What? I'm years too late??)

Looks like I'll need to repost the Foaly piece, since the post got deleted. I still haven't made any progress on the A/O one. (Haven't even started it actually. :P ) I'll see what I can this Easter about it. :)

Artemis x Orion.

Wow.

Physically, though, how would that work? They'd never be able to hold a conversation, not to mention touch, or bicker like they inevitably will.
