Poster Concept

Postby Multiverse » Fri Mar 23, 2012 3:19 pm

So, we have to reproduce a poster in Art class. Not being able to find a poster I really liked, I decided to design one myself. This is what I've got to work with - drawn in pencil, then inked, on an A4 sheet of paper. Going to be a poster in colours of nine times its original size. I haven't started the work on it yet, so it can still be altered, so I thought I'd ask for your opinion on it. =)

Here it is. =)

I plan on making the leg of the R wider, but that's the only alteration I have so far. The keywords are simplicity, a little bit of text and, once I get to that point, dark primary colours.

Nice. I'd recommend making the running clock-person stand out more. Use more detail, bolder lines or something. I didn't notice him until I'd stared at it for a while.

Thanks for teaching me that Latin phrase. My preferred Latin idiom is Cogito, ergo sum. :)

Thanks for the input, I'll try and see how that works. =)

Cogito, ergo sum is good, too. I didn't know how it went in Latin, so I'm grateful you've taught me that one as well now. =)
You might, then, be interested the other variants of Carpe Diem: Carpe Noctem, Carpe Jugulum and Carpe Piscus. =P
The first two are vampire-related. Properly vampire-related, not Twilight. ;J

I thinks it really creative! I also think the running person should stand out more. Just because he's so awesome.
it’s so nice to meet you, let’s never meet again

Hi people.
I have something very important to tell you.
But now I forgot what it was.
Maybe I'll remember later. who knows.
If I will, I'll be sure to write it. So..... Yeah.
Dismissed. Carry on.

Wow--this is great. It looks like you put quite a bit of patience into it.
I know I'm a bit late, but I still wanted to comment! ^^
