Oh my goodness Eoin Colfer. Basically a celebrity! :)
My name is Malak (Mah-lack). It's a girl's name! Haha.
Anyway, I suppose this isn't so much about Artemis himself, but I have been wanting to know this:
Anything you could say about The Supernaturalist's sequel? I'm dying for it to be released! A possible release date, maybe? Any additional info? :)

LOVE YOU EOIN!

Can we ask more than one question? Well...

How is your relationship with your editors, and how much their work have changed your work?

A lot of your readers that started reading the series when they were 11 or 12 are about 20 today. Do you think about this when you are writing a new book for the series today?

Will Holly ever get promoted?

This is kind of a weird question, but...

Just out of curiosity, have you ever written (or ever thought about writing) a choose-your-own-adventure (or, pick-your-own-path) story?

EDIT: Oh!! I forgot to add my name! It's Cassie. =P

Nice, I approve.

Okay, a question for the moderator of the board and NOT Mr. Colfer, my question for Mr. Author Artemis-Creator Extradorinaire *points up* is kind of lengthy, but I REALLY NEED IT ANSWERED! Trust me, I tried sending Mr. Colfer a letter, but it's been two years....so I don't think I'm getting a reply. JUST POST IT! You can take out the bit about my new book, but it would be awesome if you could actually post all the little questions, because if anyone asks "What advice would you give an author?" All he says is "write every day" and I do, but there's got to be more to it than that. Jus saying. Much <3 from Arty's favorite Cali girl *points to self* lol okay not really but i can dream!

Alright I have few more questions to add. (Don't be surprise if I keep putting more).

Anyway.....

My name is Yaritza(pronounced Yah-Ritz-ah) or you can call me Yari.
The questions are:
-If you could take one sentence or phrase in the Artemis Fowl series or in any of your books that describes a part of your life, what would it be? Why?

-Is there an event in any of your books that happened in your life? If so, why did you chose to put that event in the book?

-Do you have any talents that no one knew of? If not, what talent do wish you had? Would that talent have changed your life? How?

Hey,

I was wondering why did you put in the atlantic complex that Artemis Fowl was 15 when he actually 18. He was away for three in in the lost colony?

He didn't age when he was in limbo, so it was like he froze for three years. He was turning fifteen in actual age, though legally yes, he was eighteen.

I just wanted to answer that, but I have another question:

Will you be writing any more Artemis Fowl related books from a different point of view or setting, or is this last book the last we'll hear of these characters?
Thanks to Cat Moon & Raineesun for helping me do this XD

Great Opportunity!
Lots of thanks to Mr. Matt for taking the initiative, most appreciated indeed.

In the cause of minimalism and simplicity, I'd like to greet than spare my gratitude to Colfer, having known his pretty witty series for so long, and finally ask, just out of curiosity:

- Now the story is coming to an end, are you planning on separating definally the now grown up Artemis from the People? Their world would have to part metaphorically as a rite of passage of sorts?

-Could be said which characters are going to show up in the ultimate adventure? Perhaps it requires too much anticipation in this one

Now for strangeness...
-If you could think of a current(or classical) piece of litterature that could have been inspirational and indicative in portraying your pesonal-popular "hero"(Artemis), not only as a young person but also as an adult, such as a complete ideal "form", what would it be? Which one of the most exquisite and interesting exemples would you choose?

*Looking for a substitute model the "more aged" fans are gladly willing to cling to, in utter denial about the impending finale and the saddening idea of lefting The Fowl at their back once and for good...(precocious nostalgia effect)*

(Er..wholly confusing, but I let the native speakers take their time to elaborate  )

What is happening with the movie? Is it still going ahead? If so, PLEASE make sure the actor that plays Artemis is good looking!!! -- kidding

I HAVE THE ULTIMATE QUESTION!!!!

My name is Phoebe Elizabeth Harris. In Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony, on page the bootom of page 298 to the top of page 299, chapter 13, it says "The sky was dawn red, and glowed above him like a lake of blood. That's a cheery metaphor, thought Artemis, maybe it says something about my personality that a lake of blood is the only comparison I can come up with." My question is this: why would Artemis Fowl II, the boy with an IQ of 200, call a simile a metaphor? It says it was like a lake of blood, not it was a lake of blood.
