Wow that's scary! I love chance meetings! They're scary and cool at the same time! I remember when I met my cousin's cousin at an inter-school sports day. By that I mean when you get chosen to compete against other schools in sport. She just came up behind me, tapped me on the shoulder and said: "Hey,you're Cecilia's cousin!" I almost jumped out of my skin!

I went off to my year 11 retreat only to see my cousin at the same retreat with her school. Funny stuff.

I know one thing for sure though - if I ever go to the US for any extended period, I will be dropping in to see VOLDYKINS :D
HELLZ YEAH \o/

And yeah, Lighty, Nikita, and I live fairly close to one another (though Niki lives a bit farther away). I don't actually know anyone here in RL, but I have a lot of you on Facebook, and a few that I txt. If SOME of you lived in America and not in like, the UK, then MAYBE I'd be able to txt message you without being charged for international messagessss. XD

OH and I talked to Matt on the phone once, for like, 30 seconds. Haha that was pretty funny.

Why for only 30 seconds? Or are you exaggerating? I always lose track of the time when I'm on the phone...
Something scary happened to me about three months ago. You know sometimes when you go on a rollercoaster it takes pictures of you? Well, I was looking at a picture of my cousins on a rollercoaster and I spotted my sports teacher and his kids sitting right behind them! They don't even know each other, not to mention living days apart!

Haha exactly, we were on MSN and we exchanged numbers for a reason I can't recall, and he's like, I'm gonna call you, and I was like NO because I'll be charged for international airtime and what not, and he's like "just for a few seconds!" So he called me and we talked for around 30 seconds, yes. I was mostly laughing though because I found the whole situation kind of amusing, and then I was like OOH YOU HAVE A BRITISH ACCENT so yeah

/random anecdote

Haha Kat, if we lived in the same country, I'd call/text you and mariam all the time XD

Or when you see videos of people you know from the internet.

I saw a video today where this American guy said 'innernet' instead of 'internet', it was adorable.

I know I have an Australian accent although I can't hear it myself, honestly. I LOVE Irish accents! They sound so cool!

Are they really, CB? Because if someone started speaking to me in any kind of American accent I'd notice straight away.

Whereas I have a West-London accent, how boorrringgg. But to others it might not be xD

American accents are so distinctive. They just cut through all other conversation.

I hate it when American's are all like "I don't have an accent, you do, blahblah". It's just because Americans are used to hearing their own accents both around themselves and on tv. I may think that my accent is normal, because it sounds normal to me, but I know it's not. There is no non-accent.

I have an Australian accent, but it's more of a general/cultivated than a broad (think Geoffrey Rush rather than Steve Irwin).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian ... nd_changes

Simply because I live in a central city, I have a higher education and I've travelled I am lessinclined to have a broad accent.
