I'm not sure I can answer whether skiiers have more control or not, but I've only ever skiied. I'm going to try snowboarding at snow camp during winter for a week though.. Snowboarding looks awesome. XD

Never skied, but snowboarding is fun... Dunno about the control, but I guess it's easier to slow down with snowboard.

I've done both- just started snow boarding though on the fake slopes. I'm better at skiing but snow boarding is like ten times more fun... falling over at least.

I ticked skiing. It's so much easier than snowboarding, and you have much more control.

Most snowboarders spend half the time on their buts for the first few days. I don't think I could do that.

But thats the point, you have to work at doing something that you wanna do.

I'd probably pick Snowboarding as it is like Skateboarding. Have never skied, snowboarded, skated in my life, but thats my opinion

Snowboarding...I'm a skateboarder, and I would really love to go snowboarding (can't get snow here Sad ) About the control thing, I would think you get more control over what you're doing in skiing cause you have your arms to help balance out (not your arms, I mean, like the stick things they use to push themselves)--never skied before though so can't quite be sure. On snowboarding, you wouldn't have those sticks...more dangerous, but more exciting too *wicked grin*

no snow here either. Well... we get the occasional light shower but it's only really deep every like four years. And it usually only lasts about 24 hours then.

Me and my friend didn't want to waste it so we were out at three in the morning playing in the snow in the middle of the road.

Do you not have fake slopes?

I've never tried snowboarding, because it looks too difficult. And I really haven't had any chances to try, so yeah. :p

I chose skiing, because I think it looks easier.

Though snowboarding looks a little bit more.. cool. And I love watching people do cool tricks with snowboards. :D
I have no idea what she/he is doing, but I'm sure it's something weird.
