I gues I'd have to say the second. I like the old Dumbledore, the new one scares me. And I really didn't like the way they did the dementors or anything. The second was the best movie, I loved the basilisk scene and the memory part with teen Riddle.

I love the Pirates of the Caribbian movies, can't decide on only one. Jack Sparrow is awesome.

For those of you who have seen them, I love the scene in the second movie where they're fighting on the giant wheel thing and Jack is stuck inside spinning around and around.

It's a tie between:
Iron Man
Advent Children
and
Appleseed Ex Machina

And maybe White Oleander and Straight Jacket

POTC: Curse of the Black Pearl (the other two Jack lost his touch)
the first National Treasure (yes, the second one sucked)
Secret Window (wow. just wow.)
Finding Neverland (I feel just like J.M. Barrie sometimes)
Alice in Wonderland 2010 (what an amazing twist!)
Knowing (the best apocalypse movie ever)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (in case you haven't noticed, I like Johnny Depp XD)
Inkheart (Dustfinger and Farid reign forever!)

but of all movie productions large and small
the most miraculous one of all . . .

Is Fiddler on the Roof!

yeah lol there was this thread on another website that asked people to list their favorite actor based on talent and adaptability and it was Johnny like hands down.

Oh, I just finished watching Steven Spielburg's War of the Worlds. That guy's awesome, I get nervous and jittery every single time I watch it (which is often).

Tricky one. It's either Finding Nemo or Night At The Museum 2. I adore those movies. Every time you watch them something new makes sense. I'm a big history geek and there is not a single inaccuracy that I can spot in either of the NatMs, and I must have seen Finding Nemo about two hundred times now (scary thing is, I'm not exaggerating) and it doesn't get old.
Thankyou for my avvie, Rain! I luv it!!!

Do not let the Cat out. No matter what I tell you. :shiny:

I see this topic has been a little abandoned, so here I am ! :D
It's impossible for me to pick just one favourite movie, so here are my five ones :
Leon by Luc Besson (it's both funny, sad, the plot, soundtrack and characters are great and the acting is excellent -Natalie ! :D-)
Thelma & Louise by Ridley Scott (I love road movies, and the story is pretty cool)
Interstellar by Christopher Nolan (visually stunning and emotion-packed, a masterpiece even though there are some incoherences sometimes)
Tideland by Terry Gilliam (absolutely insane, unhealthy, weird and glaucous, but yet very beautiful in its own way. Plus Jodelle Ferland is so damn great.)
The City of Lost Children by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro (The story, the characters, the actors, the visuals, everything in this film is wonderful and excellent. And it's a French movie, yay ! :D)

There are a lot of other films I love (like the entire Guillermo del Toro collection for example, or Quentin Tarantino's films, Sofia Coppola's, Gregg Araki's...), but these ones were the first that came to my mind. :)

Note that Terry Gilliam's The Adventures of Baron Munchausen doesn't count, because actually it's the first movie I've ever seen (by the age of two), and since then as it's such a wonderful piece of cinematographic art (I insist on that, and if you don't know this movie then go watch it !) I watch it about three or seven times a year. Now it's not even just a masterpiece film for me, it's a golden object of worship ^^' So that's why I didn't put it on the list.
