I know it's good, all the reviews have been fantastic. But it's such an annoying royalist movie that I don't know if I could sit through it. For a start they've pure glamorised the queen's mother who was well known for being a racist alkie. Given that she supported apartheid and stuff, I don't really like this sweeping of everything under rug.

So I will probably watch this film, and I will probably enjoy it, but it will annoy me a lot.

I want to watch this. It looks very good- and funny too. I'll probably watch it with my mum- I can't see my friends being interested in this...

I went to see it . . . last Saturday. I think.

I really liked it. I would've loved even more Bertie/Lionel interaction, but the entire thing was just so beautifully done. Completely sucked me in.

This is a very good movie... A great role model for the people who are afraid of speaking in public... I truly loved it... Wise directors and writers.

The king's speech was an amazing movie!! I thought it was really powerful. I really liked the movie a lot!
Awesome quotes:

"Fear is not evil, it tells you what your weakness is. Once you know your weakness you can become stronger as well as kinder." -Gildarts Clive, from the anime Fairy Tail.

"Awww," Minho said, "That's almost as sweet as that time she slammed the end of a spear into your shuck face." -Minho, from Death Cure.

Will: "But I thought..."
Gilan: "Never say that in front of Halt. He'll simply reply, 'You're an apprentice. You're not ready to think,' or 'If you thought about it, you wouldn't ask'." -The Ranger's Apprentice Book 1, The Ruins of Gorlan.
