I know what you're thinking. It's a kid's cartoon. On Nickelodeon. Yeah, well it's still a pretty good series worth watching. I love the plot, the characters, and ESPECIALLY the animation. The style is unique, but is like the Midway Island of cartooning, smack in between Japanese anime and American cartoons.

It's funny, it's cool, it's sad, and it's Just Plain Awesome.

Anyone else think so? [s]Come on, you know you're an Avatar Fan deep, deep down.[/s]

Well, while we're on the subject [s]methinks I feel an abrupt change in topic coming[/s] I've made a fan-vid for it. (Fan-vids are music videos made by fans out of clips from a show...anyone make fan-vids here?)

[SPOILERS, LIKE WHOAH!!]
Please watch! Linkmint! Whatcha think?

[s]Well, it IS on topic. It's my first vid on YouTube and I'm too impatient to wait for feedback. ::bounce::[/s]

Your music video rocks! I really love the song, it fits well with the images and transitions. This can't possibly be your first video.

And I am an Avatar fan, too. Not even way down deep. Everyone knows it. The plot is what really drew me into the show. I love the whole idea of it. My mom got rid of our cable though so I haven't been able to see any of the second season. Can you fill me in? I've been dying to know what happens with Zuko and his sister and if Aang and Katara finally get together (or if Sokka gets someone (can you believe he finally gets a girl and then she dies?

Do you know of any fansite type of things that would have episode summaries or something like that?

Oh, my friend is an Avatar fan! He runs (or ran) a fansite for it. But I don't watch it that much. Although it is a great theme and stuff.

Never seen it. Probably never will. But I'm giving my two cents anyway.

The Chinese calligraphy there is cool... I found this site that translates and dissects most of the words. (And I can guarantee that it's accurate!)

But what I find funny is the pronunciation of 'Avatar'. They pronounce it as 'Avuh-tuhr' when its 'Uv-taar' (the uv pronounced like above). Can't be helped though, you don't pronounce the 't' like a 't' and that sound isnt in english. Razz

My friend is obsessed with that show, hehehe. I've only seen one episode, and it was pretty good, but I keep forgetting to watch it. Embarassed

!! I love Avatar! Prince Zuko is my favorite. I haven't seen much of the second season though, but that is simply because I haven't been able to find it.

I know this topic is way unused, but just saying in case anyone is interested: My brother got the videogame and is obsessed with it. Honestly, I think that it's horrible. There's bad graphics, a bad plotline...there's almost nothing good about it.
Owen: You okay? Want to get a drink or something?
Cristina: Oh. Oh, now we're on again 'cause the mood suits you? Because I'm the sad little girl with no friends and I tripped your savior complex into action? Usually I can deal with the hot and cold thing, but not today. Just leave me the hell alone.

Actually, I am from Wasington state. And on the subject of price, it costs more over there (Even with the proportional euro/dollar thingy) than over here. We can get it for $10

Anyone seen this?

The creators of Avatar know all about the shipping wars that go on in this fandom and made a short parody about it.
