I admit I like anime and manga too. I'm into the animes with a lot of action, drama, romance and cool fight scenes.
I recently watched Soul Eater on the internet and I think that the character Death The Kid - often known as Kid - looks like Artemis Fowl despite the yellow eyes and white striped hair. To me he's like Artemis Fowl that doesn't need a bodyguard.

Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji looks something like Artemis I would guess... Like a 19th century Artemis XD

There's a few similarities too:
- Likes Earl Grey tea
- Has a butler/bodyguard (ok, he's a demon, but still XD)
- Has a mansion/Empire (inherited after parents died)
- Is 12 (arty was 12 when he started his adventures)
- Is smart/ruthless
- blue eyes, black hair, pale, skinny-ish
- hot

...Hmmmm I'm sure there are other similarities but I'm in holiday mode and that's all that comes to mind atm XD
We all have a dark side...

Wow unique taste for girl

To be frank I never found flock of panties be realy funny. To Love-ru is good (it doesn't end with anime, manga is longer and have sequel), though I would like if it were more tastefull as well. I hate horrors so I can't make any snarky comment about UnNKN but I heard it is realy good.

My Fav are Tokyo Majin, Birdy the Mighty Decode, Bakemonogatary, Durarara. Recently there were Tiger and Bunny I think you would like it

I couldn't tell you how much manga I've read or how much anime I've watched
but so far my favorites are Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, Chrono Crusade,
Cowboy Bebop, Digimon, and Wolf's Rain.
But My all-time favorite is Ranma 1/2.

Anyone for Crystal Blaze (Glass Maidens)? My friend recommended it though I still haven't the full first episode yet. :P

EDIT: And... however many months later, I've watched Kuroshitsuji and Kuroshitsuji II; I'm watching Tokyo Mew Mew and Sailor Moon now; and I'll be watching Pandora Hearts later.

NOT to drag up an old thread, but... *drags up old thread*

I am a total weeb. I love anime...and manga... The first manga I got into, actually, I was introduced to via the AF fandom. (Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji.) I run the AF community on Google+, and a lot of people on there were going on about the similarities between Artemis and Kuroshitsuji's (not exactly) protagonist, Ciel Phantomhive. I thought it looked good and got into it, and since have become literal trash in the sight of whoever the anime gods are.

Um, wait. Didn't you say you were 10? You might want to wait a little bit before reading or watching it. The official rating is 16+ for the manga (which is for violence mainly; which can get gruesome in later chapters), and PG-13 on the anime (again for violence and... some other stuff).

I've read and watched a whole lot since I last posted. Pandora Hearts finished ( :crying2: ) as well as a few others I've read (Soul Eater, Earl and Fairy, and Sailor Moon). I have started reading Skip Beat, Ao No Exorcist (Blue Exorcist), Bleach, and D-Gray Man (which is on a really long haitus) in the past two years. And I have watched Sailor Moon, Black Blood Brothers, Munto (really good), InuYasha (really funny and enjoyable), Eureka Seven, and both Code Geass seasons (not recommended for those under 14 or 15).

So basically, I've been busy anime/manga wise. :P

Well...there's a lot less questionable stuff in the manga than in the anime, I've found (especially the 2nd season). I think it depends a lot upon maturity levels, honestly...I was 17 when I first got into it, so I never had that problem, but I think it depends upon maturity. There is definitely some stuff in there and it can be a little disturbing. Again, I think the worst as far as gore and...other...is probably the 2nd season of the anime, but the manga stays okay for the most part, and the musicals are also perfectly fine and....totally ridiculous and lovable. So it's whatever you're the most comfortable with, and whatever's okay with your family, of course.

But I've read/watched so much manga/anime it would make me look like a bum if I started listing them. (I swear I go to school...)
