Operation Red Jericho

Postby BkkprGirl » Tue Feb 12, 2008 9:03 pm

Hey... I was just wondering how many of you have read the book Operation Red Jericho by Joshua Mowll. I'm in the middle of this book now and even though I was excited by the statement on the cover "The Da Vinci Code meets Alex Rider in this adventure story of secret societies, scientific discoveries, and pirates." but so far the book hasn't been as good as I thought it was going to be. It has kick-butt swordfights mixed in with like, torpedoes and stuff like that. It's kind of leaving me scratching my head wondering when the book takes place. And I don't really like the main character as much as I should if she's starring in the book... If you've read it, what are your thoughts on the book?

I read it a few years ago (when it first came out, I think) and I remember liking it-- but looking back, I don't remember that much about it. I tend to have a pretty good memory for books and plots, so I guess that means it wasn't very memorable to me!
