And now I'm reading Romantically Apocalyptic!

I finished Pride and Prejudice a few days back (wonderful book, I might add), and just finished Eats, Shoots and Leaves. I am so glad I'm done with the latter.

So now I'm re-reading Artemis Fowl, and I just submitted a request for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. So I'll finally be able to understand all those Harry Potter jokes you guys make. ;)

EEEEEEEEE! *hugs Merv* You may be a little bit creepy, but Pride and Prejudice! Yaaaaaay! It's one of my most favourite books ever!
You'll like Harry Potter. Draco dormiens nuquam tillandus! (It's Latin, and it'd be good advice for Hiccup!)

The rangers apprentice series. My friend said it is good so I am going to read it.
Awesome quotes:

"Fear is not evil, it tells you what your weakness is. Once you know your weakness you can become stronger as well as kinder." -Gildarts Clive, from the anime Fairy Tail.

"Awww," Minho said, "That's almost as sweet as that time she slammed the end of a spear into your shuck face." -Minho, from Death Cure.

Will: "But I thought..."
Gilan: "Never say that in front of Halt. He'll simply reply, 'You're an apprentice. You're not ready to think,' or 'If you thought about it, you wouldn't ask'." -The Ranger's Apprentice Book 1, The Ruins of Gorlan.

I love the Ranger's Apprentice series. :> Though I haven't read past the eighth book.

I just read Willow. I don't remember who wrote it....
It. Was. So freaking. Intense.
It was a really good book, though.

I finished To Kill A Mockingbird two weeks ago (I think), for part of my summer reading assignment. I also read Tunnel in the Sky by Robert A. Heinlein recently, since my dad said part of it was similar to the Hunger Games and that he thought I would like it. It was really good, though it wasn't that similar to the Hunger Games aside from how they were surviving in the wilderness (no dictators or games in which children are forced to kill each other).

Since I'm going to go visit my grandparents who live in another state again in a few days, I might as well re-read Artemis Fowl while I'm down there.

Warning: Kane-bashing ahead!

Ugh. The Serpent's Shadow was a complete piece of #)$%#ing pulp. I had been predicting this plot twist:
Spoiler:
Walt becoming Anubis's host
since the author explained Walt's curse.
A perfect waste of my hard-earned twenty bucks - :P . The Kane Chronicles were already so melodramatic "sorry for all those deaths" "we have no hope of defeating Apophis" "ohmigawsh the guy I love is going to die" "ohmigawsh I'm in love with two guys and one of them is dying and the other is a god" "ohmigawsh my dad just died" "it's my birthday and I'm running away from my crazy grandparents but I still have time to think about the fact that a guy just kissed me."

But I'm really looking forwards to The Demigod Diaries, crappy title aside.

Just started Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. And stop giving away spoilers no matter how small they are for the Serpent's Shadow! I still haven't read it, I really want to read it but can't since I'm still reading other things, and I'll get really mad if someone spoils anything for me!!!!! :angry3:

I'm reading Something, Maybe by Elizabeth Scott. I'm 75 pages through, and I can't decide if I like it or not. I've *definitely* never read anything quite like it before... ^^
