Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! *Shrieks like a fangirl and glomps Merv through the computer screen*
Yay Harry Potter!

I'm reading:
- The Moomins
- Far too many books by Diana Wynne Jones, who is epic!
- Some book about a dragon that's really popular, but I just can't get into it...

AHHHHHH I love Diana Wynne Jones! :D It's too bad she died. :C I suppose she had to at some point, though.
I got Howl's Moving Castle for Christmas. :D It's such an awesome book.... ^^

I finished Something, Maybe yesterday, as well as Circle the Soul Softly. Today I read Lush (and re-read the last volume of Lovely Complex, lol).
I need to go to the library... I still have Rebel Angels to read, as well as another book that I can't remember the title of, but I don't feel like reading either of themmmmm.

I am reading the Mysterious Benedict Society series. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the new books! And no, I haven't heard of Tamora Pierce.

Well, I like nearly everything by Gail Carson Levine, just because I do. (I know, SUCH a good reason...) I like Divergent by Veronica Roth (have you read that yet?), Skulduggery Pleasant, obviously Artemis Fowl (although I think my favorite Eoin Colfer book is Airman)... I also like (and own) Percy Jackson, The Inheritance Cycle, and the Series of Unfortunate Events. And I like tons of books.... If you're curious, I have a bunch of books on my goodreads. They're not very well organized, though....

I finished reading The Faceless Ones by Derek Landy, and now I'm quite determined to buy Dark Days from amazon. I NEED THAT BOOK RIGHT NOWWWW! >.<

Gail Carson Levine has written a lot of books, including Ella Enchanted... You've heard of that, right?

Hmmm, I don't think Divergent is like the Hunger Games. I've only heard good things about it, so I guess it depends on who you ask.
Awwww, I love the Inheritance cycle... People hate on it so much, but I just love it so much... xD
I've heard of Meg Cabot, but I'm not sure if I've read anything by her.

I've DEFINITELY read Clare B. Dunkle and Mellisa Marr, as well as many Diana Wynne Jones books. I've read two Laurie Halse Anderson books (Wintergirls and Speak).
My sister actually did a speech on Wintergirls... It's somewhere in the depths of YouTube.

Ohhh I compared out books on goodreads, and I see you have Warbreaker as a to read. Let me recommend ANYTHING by Brandon Sanderson; he's FANTASTIC! Probably one of my favorite authors. I've heard that Warbreaker isn't his best book, though. I loved it anyway. The Way Of Kings is awesome, and definitely worth the thousand pages.

Anyway, I'm a huge fantasy fan, and I'm not picky about what I read or love. I fall in love with books people hate and hate books people love. So really, it's rare for someone to like most of the books I read. ^^

Same here. There's some decent mainstream stuff, but as a general rule I don't read things just because they're popular. Most of the popular stuff is just pulp fiction or stereotypical (vampire romance, dystopian, etc.)

I want to get my hands on some Moomins novels, but I'm going to have to order them online. I'm wasting my time reading a manga version of Othello, and killing even more time by rereading some Diana Wynne Jones novels.

Quo Vadis by Henryk Sienkiewicz (gosh, that is a terrible name....)
Hi people.
I have something very important to tell you.
But now I forgot what it was.
Maybe I'll remember later. who knows.
If I will, I'll be sure to write it. So..... Yeah.
Dismissed. Carry on.

Ahhh.... well, I don't really know if something is popular when I read it. Most of the time I'll just go to the library and pick something up off of the shelf, read the inside flap, and if it sound interesting, I'll get it.
I do like dystopian stuff... anyone here read XVI? What about Cinder? (Cinder was awesome, IMO)

I really liked Cinder.
I read Divergent recently and I have Insurgent, but I haven't read it yet because my younger brother really loves the books. And I was paying more attention to the Last Guardian.

I don't really have any books I'm reading for fun right now, but I'm supposed to be reading The Red Badge of Courage and Fahrenheit 451 for school (I already read Fahrenheit during the school year, though).

I started Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets yesterday. After reading Artemis Fowl and the Last Guardian. I actually really like Harry Potter, mostly because Rowling's writing style reminds me of Cornelia Funke's and the story plot is very interesting. :) The only thing keeping me from completely loving it is the fact that is has witchcraft in it.
