Re: The AF Vending Machine

Postby FadingLight » Mon Mar 30, 2015 12:28 am

Trouble Kelp just happens to be walking by when Lord Voldy's head pops out of the machine and issues a death threat. The LEP commander is not the least bit scared of the funny-looking Mud Man. Trouble slams the lid of the machine down on the Dark Lord's head, knocking him out. Later, when the story finally reaches Artemis, he wonder who in their right mind would put He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named in a vending machine.

Artemis pops out, looking annoyed. Who dared put him into that darned vending machine?! Looking up at the forum's text, he turns beetroot red. Oh great, AFC has found out that the great Artemis Fowl is a fan of a children's book. He will never live this down.

Beck is skipping by and thinks (for some reason-please don't ask me why) that the alphabet is chocolate. Of course he tries to eat it, and becomes the most well versed child the world has ever known, second of course to his big brother.

Artemis is offended that anyone dared ill-treat a beautiful dictionary by smothering it with chocolate, while Beckett is offended that anyone dared ill-treat beautiful chocolate by using it to smother a dictionary.

The machine begins randomly sucking things in and spitting them out, due the fact that in and out are opposites. When a number of LEP officers are sucked in, Foaly and Artemis are called. They manage to fix the machine, but when the officers come out, they have all temporarily changed colour, like an inverted photo. People gawk in the streets.

Aforementioned laughing fairy child meets Butler. Due to the fact that one of the sucked-in LEP members was Holly, the laughing fairy child's funeral will be held tomorrow at sunset, in Haven City Centre.

Orion takes this photo as some grand cosmic sign that she's in danger and goes on a quest to save her. She of course, is perfectly fine.

Holly Short grumbles about being forced into that old-fashioned uniform in order to fit in at Disneyland. Ah, well. FOR MICKEY MOUSE!

The emoticon is a frowny face. Beckett picks it up. It becomes a smiley face. He gives it to Butler. It starts crying.

Artemis harnesses it to make it an endless energy source, therefore stopping all use of fossil fuels and global warming somehow stops. Scientists are still trying to explain this phenomenon.

(Note: ok, so MAYBE global warming ISNT purely because of burning fuels, but whatever.)

Holly cannot for the life of her figure out this strange Mud Man… thing. And she's really not in the mood to ask Artemis and be treated to and hour-long lecture.

Everyone falls asleep while trying to get it out. There is now a huddle of bodies by the machine.

*inserts the very same vending machine, with the very same vending machine inside of it, with the very same vending machine inside, and so on.*

The people who fell asleep wake up and, ignoring their voice of reason, check what's inside the machine again. They pull out machine after machine out of machine after machine, until they either give up and leave or fall asleep again. I guess they aren't that bright. At least the huddle of bodies beside the vending machine is smaller.
