Baseball

Alright, I looked through the whole forum and there were none about baseball.

Now I'm pretty good at basebeball. There is no need to be modest about it. I have represented Australia at Peurto Rico, I have been in neumerous State Cup teams(State), i have been in the 1st division team all my life, and surprisingly, i find myself not liking very much. I don't mind watching it, but being at baseball for whole days bore me to tears, and on days like today, were I'm not playing and watching little kids try to pitch, then hit me when they thow wild while im umpireing is reall annoying, and i barely sat downj all day, as if you read in my journa, i helped with canteen, barbeque, and ran errands, and unpired. So it leaves you pretty angry at being good at the sport. But i still don't mind watching the game like i said just before.

My fave major league team, are the Los Angeles Dogers-THEY ARE AWSOME- and yeh. Tell m,e about your baseball experiences.

Baseball experiences?

Well, the two times I've been to a big stadium with my church group was fun.
We went to see the Braves a few summers ago, which was a big deal for me (because I grew up watching the Atlanta Braves right next to my great-grandfather and I actually knew the team members names).
And then last summer we went up to Chicago and then over to see Brewers game.
Which was FUN.

Because the drunks found out we were from Alabama and asked us to do the Roll Tide/War Eagle (football cheers? at a baseball game?) about 40 times. We even started doing Braves cheers but got dirty looks so we stopped before we got hit over the head with a beer bottle or something. And then we tried and failed to get the wave started all the way around the stadium. And then all the people in the parking lot had heard there was a group from Alabama in red shirts and shouted at us (cheering for us?) as we walked back to the bus.

Down with the Yankees! lol I'm not quite so angry at them now since they'v ended their World Series streak though. :) I like the Royals somewhat, although they are not the best team, to say the least. I mostly just luv playing and watching baseball both. I just luv the game. :D

The Mets have handled Jose Reyes as if he were a Fabergé egg since his thyroid episode began four weeks ago. Only in a figurative way, they have sat on him, trying to prevent his enthusiasm and energy from jeopardizing his comeback. But "easy does it" isn't easily enforced when Reyes is running free on the basepaths as he was Tuesday afternoon.

The Mets shortstop was playing what he later identified as "real baseball" for the first time since the overactive gland in his neck forced him to be inactive. He was on his best behavior for most of his time on the field. Even when his first contact sent a baseball to the farthest reaches of center field and the ball screamed "go for three," Reyes obediently downshifted between first and second base and reconciled a double.
