Anyway, try imagining that you've been wiped off the face of the planet. Nothing exists to prove that your mind once existed, except for your dead body and maybe some copies of that YA book you mentioned you wanted to write. But eventually, those will disappear as well.
So, how long do you imagine being conscious in your deaf, blind afterlife? :p
