I voted for Fletcher Moon! I liked The Half Moon Investigations! I would've picked Artemis, but many people already chose him and I like them both!

There is Conor Broekhart too now. He kind of runs fairly close to Artemis for me, but that may be just because he's knew.... If I was to compare Conor to any of the previous Colfer characters I'd say Stefan. (They just seemed similar in my mind) But Artemis still wins for me because he's really a character like no other.

I voted for Artemis simply because he's a great character, he is a genuis criminal, and other kids can't even be compared with him.

^^But what about people that you can actually relate to? Artemis Fowl is great, yes, but not everyone can relate to him, really...

I can't relate to Artemis... but I'm sure I could get angry and argue with him (and then fail miserably.)

I loved Fletcher... he's so curious! Like a... he reminds me of a puppy for some reason.

I really don't like EC's other work. I read Supernaturalist, because I saw EOIN COLFER written across the front, and thought "hmm. This could be good". I read it, and... meh. so so. I read chapter 1 of Airman in the end of TTP, and didn't like it much. Apart from that, I've only read the AF series. Which is why I vote Artemis.

And I can relate to him, but I don't want to insult anyone, so I'll refrain from elaborating...

I hink Artemis is in truth the best creation, due to the possibilities you can do with him, and I love him more, but I have to pick Meg. There's just something about her that sets her apart.

... Cosmo.

Why? Because Zobo is right. Also, because that was the first EC book I read, and I loved it. Although... Ziplock was my favorite in that one... *sadness* so was Stephan. But Cosmo is still pretty cool. I mean, look at what he went through? That's tough.

Oviously Artemis Fowl.
BTW, I haven't read any other books by him.

Sighhhh. This is a toughie.
I like Artemis, but I don't really feel that EC has gone as far as he could have gone with the character, which is kind of a let down.
I'd have to say.....

Oh, this is sooo hard! I love them all, in different ways. Artemis changes so much through the books, and at his best (in TAI and TEC) he's determined to get what he wants, whatever it takes, but still shows emotions. Meg has an interesting and believable past, and someone said someone about her being a good girl who got on the wrong track, but got on the right track again - totally true. Fletcher is a smart, curious yet awkward person, and he follows the law so strictly that it hurts people (since I can't word it better); like how
Spoiler:
he hurts May's feelings by telling everyone that her father is the guilty one, even though he likes May and it crushes her
. Conor is ambitious and honourable, but Little Saltee makes him tougher and less good-hearted. Cosmo... well, it's been a while since I re-read The Supernaturalist, (more than a year) I don't remember this one as clearly as the others, so... I can't really pinpoint what's so good about him, I just like him, 'kay?

EC is awesome at creating characters. They're all unique with their quirks, and they feel so alive! It's not uncommon for me to feel the feelings one of the characters feel. They're also very likable, it takes a Bonvilain for one to dislike a character.
But, back to the question... Artemis is the most original one, so I'm kinda leaning towards Artemis, but not enough for me to be sure. So, it's even.

Artemis or Meg...
