It's only logical that Artemis gets the majority of the votes. This is the Artemis Fowl fansite. :lick:

Artemis and Fletcher are both AMAZING, so I found it really hard to choose...but suffice it to say that my best friend calls me Moon and I call her Red. Artemis and Moon are both AMAZING and I LOVE THEM BOTH so I don't care which one's better. Not only that, but I don't know *gasp*
Thankyou for my avvie, Rain! I luv it!!!

Oh wow Little arty has recieved a lot of votes but this is his website so I guess that's to be expected. I was stuck between Half Moon and Meg but in the end (like almost all others) decided to go with artemis. The difference between Artemis and the others really is amazing though, don't you think? Any how, off to do homework *groan*
Thanks to Cat Moon & Raineesun for helping me do this XD

Was I really the only person here that found Cosmo a bit. . .whiny. Like, get over yourself kiddo.

That's probably why I like Artemis so much. He doesn't exactly sit there feeling sorry for himself.

Very good point, though to be honest I found Cosmo more real because of the way he handled the terrible situations he was put in, what with being tortured for most of his life AND then almost dying when he finally escapes Clarissa Frayne. Not to mention that I always root for the underdog in books - and he was the underdog in every aspect, from being a Spotter and proving himself to the group and to himself. Really enjoyed The Supernaturalist, it's the very first book from Eoin's that I've read, so I may be (a teensy bit) biased.

Now wasn't that the rant of the century?

are you kidding? Artemis Fowl is without doubt the best. He's the most unique, and he's got the most depth. The others might be more relateable to the ppl reading the books, but who's got Artemis's depth? I mean think about it - guilt, family oppression, ego, pressure, living up to one's reputation, internal change, character growth, ingenuity . . . AF's got it all, baby!

Agreed completely. Artemis rocks. But there's the fact that there has only been one Supernaturalist book, so Cosmo has been given a relatively short time to develop bad-assery. And yep, I do admire geniuses, but underdogs always have my vote beforehand :)

*sigh* I hate to say it, because I'm doing what just about everyone else is doing; I picked Artemis Fowl II.

Reasons: Cosmo just seemed so plain and not particularly outstanding, Meg because she made so many bad choices (SHAME!) and Fletcher because he seemed a bit like some of those child dectives from those forty page book series with about 40 books in the series. Artemis seemed more unique. (Being not a regular hoodlum criminal, interesting family background, intelligence, etc.) Probably I was kind of biased though... I enjoy reading AF more than the single books.

I was very close to choosing Artemis, but my vote went for Cosmo in the end. I like his scarred character with a completely unexpected clarity of thought.

Of course, my choice might be affected by me currently re-reading The Supernaturalist. =J

Well, I have to say that Artemis is the most crush-on-a-fictional-character worthy, so he is therefore the best!
