The Truth?

Postby boy G » Thu Aug 28, 2008 10:56 am

I'v always wondered wether Colfer was telling the truth about the fairies.

(as in, if they exist)

Over to you...
i looked inside myself, and all i found was hate.
i looked inside myself, and all i found was loss
i looked inside my self, and all i found was rage
i looked inside my self, and all i found was pain
i looked inside my self, and all i found was emptiness

Well, duh we exist. You think he actually made us up? No no no... actually, it's Foaly who writes the Artemis Fowl books. The stories in them are fiction, but the fairy people exist. However, Artemis does not. Holly does love geeks with huge IQ's, though. Maybe that's why Foaly made him up.

Oh, and for those wondering, Julius Root is still alive. Foaly killed him off for some reason...

And I'm still a major, by the way.

NEEEEW PEEEEERSOOOOON!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the site!

Okay, anyway....

I told you before, it's not Artemis! It's Foaly. He's mesmerized Eoin Colfer into thinking that he wrote the books, for interveiws and such. I'm surprised Matt never noticed. Actually, I'm in the Ops Booth right know, and Foaly's typing away. One sec.

Yup, Artemis Fowl book 7. He doesn't have a title yet- he waits until he's done writing it and the decides what to call it.

Hasn't Colfer said that Foaly reminds him of himself, too?

I don't think they exist.. I don't know really. I mean all those UFO sightings could be ships or something from them but thats unlikely.. I don't think they exist unless someone can give me proof.

PS: I wish they did exist.. that would be reallllllllly cool.

Haha. I believe in the paranormal. I just have a very weird explanation for it. (It involves Nephilim.... and if you know what that means. You are amazing!)

I wish I could believe in them. But I cannot. Maybe in another universe. And that doesn't stop me from writing about them. And that doesn't stop me from entertaining happy little fantasy lands inside my head.

Paranormal? I believe it, it's so interesting. They exist... in our hearts. I always imagine what it would be like to be Artemis Fowl, or Holly, or even Opal.

Ouch... you know, that was really uncalled for and a completely unnecessary post. Put yourself in the position of the poor soul who DID vote no, and think about how you would feel if someone just called you the worst AF fan ever. Not so nice.

But I digress.

I would have to say yes. I've always thought there was something else out there, maybe not Eoin Colfer's imagining of it, but still.

You don't need to believe a made-up series exists to be a fan of a series. I love the AF series, but since I am myself, and I believe in only things that can be proven with physical evidence.

So the whole "I am the worst AF fan" thing is uncalled for and honestly you can't judge people like that. Everyone is a fan of anything the way they want to. You like to believe they exist, so be it, that's your way.
