here's a poll.

Wow, that's incredibly near-sighted. There's obviously different laws for different countries and places, and each lift is different.

I wonder what the load limit is like on a Toshiba elevator...

A bunch of us at my school had a theory that we could fit like 15 of us in an elevator with our luggage. We were wrong, we got trapped in the elevator. It was really funny.

My class had a theory that my classmate got lost in a shopping centre. We were wrong also. He got lost at the London Eye. Then we had to stay the night at the airport. I got donuts out of it though!

Funny story about elevators and weights. I went on a band trip with my school and we decided to fit like 18 of us on one with all our bags. We ended up getting stuck in the elevator for like two minutes. It was really funny. Never try it.

True it would be bad for a person who is claustrophobic but we were a bunch of really stupid teenagers who thought we could beat the system.

at Olivet, the university I attended, there were a couple of elevators there where the max load weight was like 3000 lbs. *shrugs*
