Trouble opened the door, and slowly walked in. He sat on the floor in the upper left hand corner, hood still up. "Hi guys." He mumbled, and looked at the floor.

Foaly looked at him. "Hello Trouble. That was quiet a scare you gave us. Not only did you put yourself in danger but you put the lives of your friends on the line." He patted the boy on the back. "It was stupid but we're all glad you're back safely. The LEP police plaza wouldn't be the same without all of you."

"Oxen. The farmer used his oxen."

"What?"
"What's the plural for box?"

Kat woke up lying in a hospital bed, with her mother watching her tearfully. She noticed that her mom's eyes were red, and there were deep bags under them, but she didn't know what they'd be from.

"Why am I here?" she questioned calmly, not yet remembering anything that had happened.

"You...you've been in a coma for several days, honey...that's why."

Kat rolled her eyes, but made sure that her mother couldn't see. "That's...kind of obvious." Changing the subject, she asked instead, "Where's Dad?"

Marine Violet's eyes filled with tears once more, and she turned to leave. Just as she reached the door, she turned her head. "Don't you remember?" she asked, and left.

Remember what? Kat pondered. Dad's on a mission, that's all...wait. Suddenly, disjointed images flashed through her head, and one of them was her father, dead, in a long-since-dried stain of blood.

Oh, Daddy...
Kat turned on her side, and wept.

Days had passed since the incident and Jessie was up and better. Jessie had decided to visit one of the prisoners from the cells. She took a seat on the other side of the glass. Her father was brought out and was placed in the seat across from her.

"Hello," she said and twidled her thumbs.

The man gave a smile and a small snicker. "Hey there girly. I'm surprised you came by after what I did to you're friends fathers, you and your friends." He leaned forward.

"Shut up. I'm here to ask you a few questions."

"Shoot kid."

"What's your name? How can I trust that you're my real father? Who's my mother? Why did you go after those two officers?" She asked quickly.

There was silence between the two for a bit. "My name is Alec and your mother was Sarah. And I'm your real father because I know exactly where your birthmark is. It's righ above your belly button. And I went after those officers because they were higher officers." He explained.

"You make me sick."
"Edwin, what's the plural for Ox?"
"Oxen. The farmer used his oxen."

Trouble walked over the cell door and listened in. Now he really wanted to kill Jessie's dad. Becuase he killed his only family other then his littler baby brother. He listened closer, waiting for a response.

"That may be the case but my blood runs through you. You'll do something in the future my dear that'll make me proud." He gave her a laugh and got to his feet. "This was great to see you but I must take my leave." He was taken away.

Jessie watched and tightened her grip on her pant leg. She wiped away a tear.

Trouble sighed, and walked down the hall hands stuffed in pockets. I had better get back to school, it is late and curfew is in a few hours. He goraned and started walking toward the HQ entrance, and back to school.

Kat felt more alone than any other girl in the world could have felt, at that moment. She had stopped shaking from sobs, but her tears were still flowing, and she could see the wet rivulets curling down her face, washing away some of the tunnel dirt. She was standing at the window, staring out at the city hundreds of feet below, and with a sigh, she turned away.

They're not going to come and see me, are they...they're too disgusted by what I did. But it wasn't me, even. It was someone else, from inside of me...but they'll never understand.

With renewed grief, Kat pried open the window, and perched on the edge.

I'll go, then. Leave them alone, and they can forget all about me. I'm not very hard to forget...and they won't be sad for long.

She threw herself out the window, just as a nurse entered the room. She longed, just for a moment, to let herself fall, and not fly, but she spread her wings and shot towards the shuttle port.

Jessie got to her feet and headed back to school. She wondered how Kat was and was going to visit once the day was over. She only had a small amount of time because of her new curfew. She walked to the bike rack and took hers. She rode to school and then entered.

Trouble was at the acdemy the next day in class. He hard a really hard time focusing though, with the events that happened yesterday swimming through his head. He sighed and put his head on his desk and awaiting the end of the day.

Jessie walked into class late. She hopped that she wouldn't be noticed and fortunately wasn't. She took a seat and looked out the window. Fake clouds began to gather. There was a storm brewing. Something bad was going to happen. Or maybe something bad already did happen. But Jessie felt something in the pit of her stomach.

OOC-I'm sorry, but your point is...?

BIC
Kat was waiting on a small cavern cut into a stalactite, just a couple thousand feet from where the shuttle port was placed. She decided to give it a try and call Jessie, but she didn't think it'd work anyhow. After dialing her friend's number into her small communicator, she waited, hoping and praying that Jessie would pick up.

OOC: We're using Root as the Commander. Not Trouble and Trouble does become Commander.

BIC: Jessie heard the bell ring and rushed out of class. Grabbing her bike she rushed to the hospital hoping that visiting hours were not over. She was worried for Kat and needed to see her as soon as she could. Her heart sped up as she approched the building. As she rode her communicator rang and she picked it up. "Jessie here."

She had trained herself to ride and talk at the same time. She stopped at a light and leaned back from the bike handles.
