But, think about it. Have you ever played Star Wars Lethal Alliance? It is a Star Wars based game with slightly mind training puzzles. It isn't that hard to to the puzzles/challenges but once you get the hang of it, it begins to get easier to you. So technically I think that Artemis could do more that just puzzles. Also, I would like the idea of an Artemis Fowl game
Let's just say I'm a very smart boy.

That is mainly still a point of discussion. If the movie were to be highly- and well-marketed, then they probably would make a game. For now, this thread was created for the speculation of such a game.

Having a game for Artemis Fowl is not a good idea, because there's not much to do except plotting when your Artemis Fowl and facing a troll on two occasions when your Holy Short and Butler! Very Happy

Thats why I said for DS because you can play LOTS of puzzle games with the tuch screen. I am not even a huge fan of DS that is just what I think this game would work for. But I agree it would be hard to make a fun Artemis Fowl game.

A game would be awsome!!!!!
But there's one problem.....What about the people that don't have a video game console.
If you ask me the should make one for computer's one for Handheld video games and one for regular video games. Personaly one for Wii would be awsome Cool

I agree with putting it on DS &/or computer because it wold be better for puzzles, they did that with the use of the alethiometer in golden compass (on the DS you use the touch screen to move the little handles) so it is capable of covering that, also, golden compass was movie to game and it seems ok and it followed the sequence of the book rather than the movie (the movie was slightly jumbled).

I play the nancy drew games too!! They are kinda like AF with all the puzzles

I won't buy it, even if it comes out. :closed: the HP OotP was plain boring(sorry if someone likes it, but it's not to my taste) and I think that AF wouldn't be any more interesting. Actually, I dislike most games molded from movies and books(I don't know why, but to me, it really kills the fun and imagination)

As a rule of thumb, games based on movies or tv series tend to suck due to crappy graphics, awful gameplay and is just a glorified advertisement for the movie. So far nothing had bucked this trend apart from, perhaps, King kong though I've never played that.

I completely agree. The HP games sucked too. They don't follow the books or the movies that much, except for major events. I still like to play them and I would flip if they made an AF game.
