[CAPTION COMPETITION DISCUSSION] Win a Signed Copy of 'The Opal Deception' Graphic Novel Adaptation!

Postby La Souris Bleue » Wed Feb 04, 2015 8:11 pm

...
... what does caption actually means ?
I'd love to participate but I want to be really sure what it's about and I don't trust Google Translate ; is a caption really something like a legend or something ?

Sorry for the pointless post, I didn't know where else to ask... ><'

Hi!

A caption contest or caption competition is a competition between multiple participants, who are required to give the best description for a certain image offered by the contest organizer.

The description doesn't have to be true, it can be funny, emotional... whatever you want it to be, really. You have until late February to post a submission, so take a look at what other people post and you'll get a good idea. 8)

Quick! We must activate the locator beacons in our arms so Mulch can find us!

Is there going to be a rule on the number of entries permitted from a single person/ip address?

Hi!

I'm afraid you can only post one entry. If you want to change it, just edit your post before the competition deadline, because I'll be locking the topic from posts and edits then!

What I meant was in order to prevent cheating, are IPs also logged to prevent persons from contributing multiple entries?

Indeed they are! We don't allow multiple sign-ups from the same e-mail address, and all entries will be checked prior to moving to the voting stage.

If, hypothetically, you succeed... then maybe.

If you fail miserably, then definitely not.
