Yeah! I know that book! I've never read it, but it looks good. Here's something one of you people might like! The Enchanted Forest Chronicles. Or something like that.. the first one is called Dealing with Dragons. Although it's about a princess she's not like a princess at ALL! lolI highly recommend a Mister Skulduggery Pleasant
Really good book, about a skeleton detective, its got the same humour as the Artemis Fowl books do if not a bit more. Bits of magic here and there, fighting, puzzle solving and general stupidity
Truly a good series, third one is out now and i wet myself over it
btw I am 16 so just letting you know that this book is definitely worthy of different ages.
/\ love this book! seriously awesome, but the movie sucked.i also liked inkheart it is about a girl and her dad who read stuff out of books. they accidenntally read out a villan and have to escape him.
I've heard of that! I didn't particularly like it, mind you. XDI would have to say that The Bartimaeus Trilogy is somewhat similar to Artemis Fowl. Some 11 year old boy manages to summon a high level demon/servant because of his smarts. It also has a lot of magic. The magicians though are quiet aware of the presence of otherworldly beings.
