Pokemon. (When I look back, I can't believe all the blood and sweat I put into each of the games. I've played most of the colors, or at least one from each generation: Red, blue, yellow, gold, silver, crystal, ruby, sapphire, emerald, firered (my sister played Leafgreen), pearl (my sister played Diamond), platinum, heartgold, black, black2, Y, alpha sapphire, and omega ruby, and I've played a few of the extra games (I played the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and later Pokemon Conquest--possibly others, though I'm not sure.) Also put in an order Pokemon Moon, one of the newest generation. (I'm both looking forward to it and dreading it, because I have so many other things I need to be spending my time on, and I don't want to get distracted. [But I know I will. XD! Pokemon is my heroin, I'm telling you.]
My favorite of all the games so far is Pokemon Heartgold. (Gold was always my favorite, and the remake was just so good. The Pokathalon minigames are so fun, and I loved seeing your pokemon follow you around. And getting to dress like a Team Rocket member was like a dream come true...)

So, I have to ask.... What do you think of Pokemon Go?
This is the one forum I never thought I would ever enter. But guess who's starting a gaming channel in the coming months?
Anywho, in terms of favorite games, I can think of three: Terraria, Undertale, and Sims 3.
Terraria is essentially two-dimensional Minecraft with constant enemies. There is no peaceful mode. And I love it! It's so much fun to build and mine and create and craft and destroy enemies, and yeah. It's great.
There's no real ending either and you can explore for miles, so you can get so much out of it for a really long time.
Undertale, I know I've written a topic on this, so I won't really go into too much detail here. Let's just say fun gameplay, great characters, amazing plot. It's a beautiful game.
And Sims 3. I love creating things (which is why I love Terraria), and Sims 3 allows me to do that even more. One of my favorite features is building homes and parks. And I can control up to 8 people per family, which can be tricky, but also a lot of fun. And it's addicting.
So yeah, those are my top favorite games so far. I know there's plenty other games out there I haven't played yet, so we'll see if anything knocks those down.

Haha, I don't have a smartphone, so I haven't played it. But considering how I've been with Pokemon Shuffle and Pokemon Rumble (free downloadable games for the 3DS) I'm guessing I would probably be addicted if I did...(Then again, I am a born houseplant, and I'm not even sure the prospect of getting more pokemon could change that.) But, when the game was still in the testing stages, someone approached me while I was on my break at work and asked me if I played it. (Because you get stuff by interacting with other people.) I think she must have seen my pokemon wallet. XD!
It's been a little while since I've played any games besides Pokemon, but back in the day one of my favorite games was the original Sims (I mostly played it with my sister, and we downloaded all kinds of custom-made skins, mostly anime, like Yugioh characters and such.) But yeah, Sims 3 is amazing, my sister got that one one year, and I made her do things like create Artemis Fowl, Butler, and Holly Short characters. xD!! It's amazing just how much control you have over the appearance of the sims characters is Sims 3...as an artist, it makes you realize just how much variation there can be in face structure, and how subtle changes affect how the character comes across.)
It's weird to think all the computer games I really played a lot of are all old now...(Command and Conquer Generals, which taught me words like 'AK-47,' 'Comanche' and 'Chinook,' and all the Sims series, including Sim Safari, a little Sim City, and I think there was one called Sim Park. My favorite though was one I think I got for Christmas one year, Chaos Island, which was a game based on the second Jurassic Park, Lost World. I like dinosaur games...)
My dad, sister and I are also really into the Nancy Drew games, lol. (Although now my sister is away at college most of the time, so my dad and I have been having to play them on our own.) Like the Nancy Drew series, you're given a mystery, and you explore the world of the story, gathering clues to try to figure out what's going on, and who the perpetrator of whatever the crime was. (And usually when you find out who it is, they try to kill you at the end. x3) Unfortunately my dad's computer went down, so it looks like we'll have to reply the last one we've been working on...
I know what you're saying about games where you get to build things. (I'm also a sucker for games where you collect things.) Although, mainly I think I just like games that don't take a lot of work. xD! (I like games where you can save often, so you can stop whenever you need to and don't necessarily have to commit a lot of time at once, and games that are forgiving in that if you make a mistake, you always get a second chance [without extreme penalties, like having to play the entire level over]. If I'm going to play a video game, I want to relax, not be more frustrated... xD)
