Uh, that is fairly unfeasible for us to monitor everybody's posts. We are fairly active, but there are a lot of threads to patrol and we can't just be "OK"ing certain posts.
The fifty-word rule is in place now, for a reason. If you are under it by a small amount, this is fine. But if we start saying: well, some short posts are good and others are bad, then it can easily devolve into Big Bad Modgodding if we deem someone's unsuitable and another's fine.
50-word rule is there. What we are saying by letting you be slightly (probably around no more than 10-15 words) under is: Abide by the spirit of the law, not the letter. We recognize that quantity does not mean quality. But generally, if you have something useful to say, it SHOULD take around 50 words.
