At the beginning, I was excited for this movie. Avatar TLA on the big screen? Heck yes, I would have said. But now I'm having my doubts. The trailers look mediocre, like they tried their best to make it like the cartoon instead of making it work for film. For pete's sake use some creativity Shyamalan (idk how to spell his name) and make this an epic movie, not a carbon copy of the show. I'm okay with a little tweaking to make it work, but only as long as the magic and feel of the show isn't lost. I think that live action was the wrong way to go; digital would have been much better. I feel let down and disappointed-this movie is the only thing we have left of ATLA, and it's not as awesome as it could be.
Okay, fangirl rant over.
I know. But I never expected it to be good in the first place.
In non-movie news, don't you guys think there should be another season? I don't know if this has been discussed previously, but the end of Sozin's Comet was a totaly cliff-hanger! Zuko's mother is alive!? WTH? And they just leave it at that? Come on! There should totally be another season. I mean, yeah, so Aang's story is over, but that doesn't mean Zuko's is. Aang doesn't have to be in it, it could just be Zuko and Sokka or something in just a little mini-series thing. Or like a TV movie (that's animated obviously).
He needs to ditch Mai too, she's cool when she's fighting, but when she's dating Zuko, she makes him all depressed too. idk.
I've actually been wondering, who do you guys ship? I was totally for Zuko/Katara, but that can't really happen anymore, but still.
